Independent Contractor Agreement - Notary

This agreement is made by and between At Home Signings, Inc. and the undersigned Notary Public (here in after referred to as Independent Contractor for the purposes of this agreement).

At Home Signings, Inc. will provide Independent Contractor with all required loan documents and instructions through overnight carrier.  Independent Contractor will set all appointments with clients in a timely manner and notify At Home Signings, Inc. of all appointments set and completed.  Independent Contractor is required to attend and complete all signings at the appointed time/place and notify At Home Signings, Inc. of any changes in the initial appointment.

It is agreed upon execution of this agreement that the Independent Contractor shall not be considered a partner, employee, working in a joint ventureship, or in anyway connected with At Home Signings, Inc. other than that of an Independent Contractor.

As an Independent Contractor, it is understood that I am responsible for my own supplies, equipment and transportation needed to complete all loan document signings provided by At Home Signings, Inc.

Independent Contractor shall maintain current comprehensive general and vehicular insurance for any claims and damage bodily or otherwise including death and will hold At Home Signings, Inc. harmless for any claims or liabilities.  Independent Contractor shall at their own expense maintain all commissions, bonds, insurance, permits and licenses required to perform the notary duties and holds At Home Signings, Inc. harmless for any claims or liabilities.  Independent Contractor is responsible to pay all applicable employment taxes to include federal, state county, city or any other applicable self-employment taxes.

Independent Contractor has the right to refuse any signings and reserves the right to terminate this agreement with At Home Signings, Inc. upon 30 days written notice.  At Home Signings, Inc. agrees to the same termination rights under the terms of this agreement.

At Home Signings, Inc. agrees to pay a flat fee per completed signing for services rendered to the Independent Contractor as follows and may be amended or changed with prior written notice.

The signing fee of $50.00 shall be paid to Independent Contractor upon completion of one set of loan documents in an area not to exceed 40 miles from Independent Contractor home or office.  This payment is rendered semi-monthly via regular first class mail.

Any signing outside the agreed upon area will be negotiated in good faith between At Home Signings, Inc. and the Independent Contractor, prior to accepting signing.

If client refuses to sign after complete review of loan documents, Independent Contractor will be paid as agreed by the terms of this agreement.

Independent Contractor will not answer questions or convey personal opinions relating to the terms and conditions of the loan or documents.  Any and all questions are to be directed to the lender unless Independent Contractor is legally licensed to do so.

Fees will not be paid if signed loan documents are not returned to overnight courier company by end of the next business day.

If documents are incorrect due to Independent Contractor error ie:  missing signature, missing notary as an example.  Independent Contractor will be required to resign customer at no charge to the customer, contractor signing company, At Home Signings, Inc. clients or At Home Signings, Inc.

Independent Contractor shall perform all notary duties in accordance with the laws of the state they hold their commission and abide by any laws related to performing their notary duties.

Independent Contractor shall hold confidential any information provided by At Home Signings, Inc. or its Clients to any party without the expressed written consent of At Home Signings, Inc. unless unlawful to do so under any federal, state or local laws.

The undersigned agrees to all terms and conditions of this Independent Contractor Agreement set forth by and between At Home Signings, Inc. and the undersigned Independent Contractor.
